My version can be found at (see new post)Įdit 2: In case it wasn't clear from the first edit, I'm not trying to take credit for anything here, which is why I wanted to be able to contact the author. I think the most significant changes I made were to make the priority values numerical, according to the settings used in nzbget, changed the ranges, and then flipped the if/elif/else logic to check from smallest to largest for size. It threw some errors, but I made my way through it despite knowing nothing solid about python (just a matter of checking the notes in the logs and finding the line number in the script and then research the problem). I found the original at while searching for a script that would let me set nzbget priority based on size.
#LOG NZBGET REGISTRATION#
Wanted to let the author know.Įdit: Was a request to post it here, since it looks like the forum isn't even open for registration and I have no way to contact the author, user rolmei there. I managed (somehow) to tweak it so that it does now work (at least on my setup). Reason is, I was searching around for an extension script to set priority based on file size and found one, but it was not working properly. I have checked around the page and can't find anything other than "login" and "forgot my password", which doesn't seem to work unless you are already registered. NZBGet Open NZBGet and click on Settings at the top of your screen. Scroll to the bottom of the page and save your changes. Is it even possible to register for the forum at This will require you to log into your newsreader, but will prevent this malware from affecting your system. If someone else finds this post and finds the script useful, then my job is done. now when typing 192.168.1.120:6789 of course i got login, tried a lot NZBGet als user as password, search on the internet for standard inlog but no results here. I do not know python, but do know just enough about programming to track down most errors (and keep myself out of serious trouble). If anybody is on that forum and wants to send rolmei a message, I owe them a huge thanks for giving me a starting point because there is NO way I could have done that from scratch. I just fixed what errors came along (luckily) and tweaked the numbers to suit my needs. Have to say, 99% of the script is user rolmei, the original author from the nzbget forum. Long story short, I decided to put it on github so everybody can find it through a web search. I found a script over there, but it didn't work after I downloaded it, so I decided to see if I could work my way through the errors and see if I could get it to do what it was supposed to (not because of the challenge, but because that was what I was looking for and could not find anything else). This started as a post to register at the nzbget forum, but it's not currently accepting new members.
